I don’t understand women who complain that they’re not held to the lower standards that men are. This is totally going backwards! “Why is it that when Serena abuses an official on the court people say bad things about her, but men do it all the time and nobody cares?” “Why is it that promiscuous women are called ‘sluts,’ but nobody says anything like that about men who sleep around?” “Why is it that when women act like jerks in the workplace they’re called b*itchy, but when men do it it’s seen as normal?” I’ll tell you why: because expectations of women and their behavior are a lot higher, thanks to centuries, if not millennia of vastly superior women behaving much better than men, and earning that reputation! That was a hard-fought gain! From the dawn of human history, while men were busy drinking, and engaging in all kinds of debauchery, and just being generally disgusting and gross, generations of women worked very hard for women as a whole to become instinctively known to all as not just the fairer sex, but also the cleaner, more respectable, and morally superior sex. Those were the real feminists, because they elevated women above men! They understood that it was actually MEN who should strive for equality, because women were of superior quality! So maybe today’s feminists should think about what they’re really tearing down, and whose legacy they’re really destroying, before they dive face first into the mud in the name of raising women up. ...
